Mediators for Humboldt Mediation Services can access mediator specific events, sign up for mediations, and HMS annual events through their assigned volunteer profile.

To access your mediator profile, click the icon in the top right corner of the page. Then use your personal email, and click "reset password" to access your specific volunteer profile.

    Community Mediator Training

    Prepares participants for the phases of the Community Board mediation process including:

    •        Case development
    •        Communication of the conflict
    •        Shared understanding & cooperation
    •        Reaching & drafting agreements

     Gain hands-on experience to:

    •        Facilitate effective discussion
    •        Remain impartial
    •        Deal with strong emotion
    •        Build trust
    •     Create workable agreements

    10% discounts for students & seniors, signing up with a friend and volunteering are cumulative for up to a 30% discount. 

    Call the HMS office at 707-572-4092 and leave a message to register and receive a cumulative discount; Our office will be in touch to register you over the phone. 

    Refund policy:  Cancellation after 9/23/25 results in a refund of 80%. Alternatively, we can hold the full amount to be applied to a future training or fee.
