Community Board Mediation A panel of three trained volunteer community mediators assist you in working toward your own written win-win solutions. We are impartial - we do not recommend solutions or represent sides. Our mediators help you set ground rules and maintain them; hold a respectful space for you; and guide you through a process designed to arrive at your own written agreement. |

Community Mediator Training At least annually, HMS offers a 34-hour training in community mediation. The training is fast-paced, active and in-depth. Those who wish to go on and serve with Humboldt Mediation then complete a term of mentorship in which they work one-on-one with an experienced mentor.
