COMMUNITY MEDIATOR TRAINING

Prepares participants for the phases of the Community Board mediation process including:

Case development
Communication of the conflict
Shared understanding & cooperation
Reaching & drafting agreements

Gain hands-on experience to:

Facilitate effective discussion
Remain impartial
Deal with strong emotion
Build trust
Create workable agreements

Sessions will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30-7:00 PM with a final session Saturday April 24th 9:30 AM -12:00 PM.

10% discounts for early registration, students & seniors, signing up with a friend, or volunteering with us for 10 hours are cumulative with a 30% maximum discount. Call the HMS office when registering to receive a cumulative discount. Refund policy: cancellation after 2/16 results in a refund of 80%. Alternatively, we can hold the full amount to be applied to a future training or fee.
